The backstory
In March of 2021, my sensei called me up and said, “So when are you starting your own music festival?”
I laughed.
A few days later my parents and I went out to dinner and I told them about my conversation with Jurell.
“I’d have to find a location, but I think by 2022 I could probably pull off something grassroots.” I said.
My dad’s eyes lit up. “Let’s do it at home! On our property! This year!”
“Hell yeah!” my mom said already reaching for a napkin and pen.

What an incredible feeling to watch an idea on a napkin bloom into a real, in-person experience in just five months.
